INVITATION TO JOIN The Boy Scouts of America
All youth - boys and girls - from Kindergarten and up to grade 5 are invited to join a Cub Scout pack, and boys and girls in grades 6+ are invited to join a Scouts BSA troop in Carbondale.
TO JOIN SCOUTING
All youth may sign up on Thursday, May 12, 2022, between 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Town Square Pavilion in downtown Carbondale at the corner of W. Main St. and N. Illinois Ave.

In November each year the BSA units in Carbondale join together to participate in the annual Boy Scouts of America Scouting for Food drive and collect food items, which are distributed to the Good Samaritan food pantry (http://www.cdaleinterfaith.org) and the Community Cupboard.
The Kaskaskia District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council collects over 35,000 food items each year. The items are distributed to 20 food pantries in the 6 southernmost western counties in Illinois -- Jackson, Perry, Johnson, Alexander, Union and Pulaski.
